We have an immediate need for a German speaking SAP Data Migration Specialist for a long term contract in Hannover.
Experience and Skills - Required:
- 3+ years of relevant SAP data migration experience
- Demonstrable SAP data migration expertise with experience of delivering SAP data migration projects through full project life cycles
- Customer oriented and focused on delivering high customer satisfaction through excellent delivery
- Good written and oral communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
- A strong problem solver with a pragmatic and tenacious attitude to seek out resolutions
- Extensive experience in LSMW and ABAP
Experience and Skills - Desirable:
- Experience in ETL and data quality tools
- Experience in a consulting environment
Main Responsibilities - Project Related:
- Facilitate in the preparation and management of project plans and trackers
- Be responsible for scope management and change control - of the respective process area they are responsible for eg P2P/SRM
- Lead data migration workshops to gather data requirements
- Responsible for the ETL build including unit testing and documentation - not build themselves. Manage CLIENT development team
- Execution of each data load cycles (incl. loads for testing cycles) and management of defects
- Provide guidance and lead the business users with regards to data cleansing and the reconciliation approach
- Manage the load cycle review sessions providing input for the required deliverables
- Highlight and escalate business and project risks and issues, including the development of contingency plans to data PM
- Contribute to regular status reports per their work stream of responsibilities in line with project expectations
- Prepare regular status updates for the Project Lead and Head of Project Delivery
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of all relevant activities and deliverables in scope - per their work stream
- Co-ordinate the CLIENT Technology Team developers and their workload for required activities and deliverables so they are clearly planned, managed and delivered
- Drive business engagement throughout the project
- Build effective and collaborative relationships with other project members and teams, CLIENT InfoTech and business resource
