Role:
- Production Support: Respond to the issues assigned, do analysis, participate in estimating the effort needed to implement solution or work around, suggest/implement work around, communicate to all the stake holder and close the issue as per the agreed timelines in order to ensure support availability as per agreed SLAs
- participate in Knowledge Management activities with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to clients in own technology domain within the guidelines, policies and norms
- Participate in the estimation of work product in order to provide right information to TL/PM for overall project estimation
- Monitor Strategic Goals and Strategic Initiatives Governance - Unit - Generate & consolidate data in order to provide inputs for tracking goals
- Interact with client senior leadership and SMEs to understand the requirement, expectations and articulate value of Infosys Solution.
- Provide thought leadership and driving client long range plans and roadmap
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex business and technical issues
- Ensure operational and system documentation is created and maintained
Required Skills
- Strong hands on experience in Oracle or MS SQL Database administration technologies
- Managing and maintaining various Oracle and MS SQL databases and versions hosted on Windows/UNIX/AIX infrastructure
- High availability and clustered environment configuration
- Installing, upgrading and decommissioning of the Database server and application tools
- Expertise in Disaster Recovery Technologies
- Experience in a large, geographically dispersed environment
- Experience in Global Delivery Model working with teams which are positioned in multiple geographical locations across global time zones is required.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also able to work in team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and German language
- Experience in client interactions
