Our client wants to achieve IFRS16 compliance by April 2017 and therefore have initiated a global IFRS16 program, which sets the boundaries and guides the local implementation project.
Existing processes will have to be amended or retired, while new processes need to be defined to enable IFRS16 compliant internal and external reporting.
During the initial dual reporting phase, directed by the standard, IAS17 & IFRS16 compliant reporting has to be ensured. Thus Legacy processes need to be retained during this period, with the goal of retiring these processes once the dual reporting period is concluded.
Therefore we are looking for a Process Workstream Lead for one of our client in the telecommunication industry.
Scope:
Analysis of current landscape and scenarios of lease accounting and supporting processes
Process impact analysis for all operational activities impacted by S16 such as lease accounting, future lease activities and other topics
Creation and provision of decision papers in terms of future lease accounting processes
Design future proof S16 to-be-processes in close corporation with business departments and functional work streams
Demand Management support
Definition of activity split, workflows and process maintenance definition
User role design
Design of test scenarios, test cases and organisation of UAT
User to Role Design and mapping
Creation of training material and process documentations, user manuals and application guidelines
Skill set:
Experience in the area of Finance Process documentation
Functional expertise in one or multiple of the following finance areas: lease accounting, asset accounting, RTR, consolidation
Knowledge of process modelling tools (especially ARIS) and SOX controls
Deep knowledge and experience in SAP ERP systems
Profound knowledge of Standard CBM business processes, Finance process methodologies and the SAP EVO ERP (to be of advantage)
In-depth understanding of ERP template projects and experience in managing multinational system integrator teams (to be of advantage)
