On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Frankfurt, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Test Engineer (f/m) trading area
Tasks:
Plan and perform functional testing of a trading software
Self-organization of software testing in terms of responsibilities, contents and schedule
Creating and updating test models and scripts for test automation
Close cooperation with operation teams for software testing and other teams engaged in testing
Support of ad hoc inquiries for simulation and production
Skills and Qualification:
Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Excellent Software Testing Skills
Experience in trading and/or Securities Lending
Experienced in Test Automation (eg Selenium, D2SG)
Experienced in Usage of Test Tools
Knowledge in Java, Linux, JBoss is beneficial
A background in financial trading, or clearing and settlement will be of advantage
English is essential, German can be beneficial.

Start date of assignment: ASAP
Intial contract duration: until the end of 2016, further extensions are planned.
Degree of employment: Full-time
