Java Backend Developer
Our client, an innovative start-up based in the city of Berlin, are looking for two Java Backend Developers. It allows you to work within a collaborative and open company culture alongside talented, inspiring colleagues. They are looking for powerful support to help them fulfil their vision and add to their ever growing team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Creating and designing an outstanding search experience for the customers of the E-commerce platform.
- To implement new features, maintaining and constantly improving the code base.
- Technical conception, implementation, testing and software delivery for the Back End services and APIs.
- You will be translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- The opportunity to design and implement event driven big data backends which can handle a huge amount of data.
Your profile
- Strong knowledge of Search and semantic technologies like ElasticSearch/SOLR
- Comprehensive automated testing experience, continuous integration.
- Able to adopt and understand new technologies and utilise them efficiently.
- Several years of software design and software development experience as Java developer- including experience in the complete software development life cycle.
- Proficient in Java8, Spring, RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design.
