DevOps Engineer - Docker - AWS - Puppet - IT - Germany
An extendable contract opportunity working for one of the world's largest IT Conglomerates based in Germany. This is a ground-breaking project, and my client has already attracted some of the leading lights within the Devops space to lead them through this transformation.
Long-term prospects with management responsibilities, we are seeking;
The role
- Experience in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience of setting up and managing AWS instances and services.
- Extensive background in development
- Deep and demonstrable experience in systems administration, with the equivalent of around 5 years experience looking after a multi-layered systems infrastructure in a modern programming environment.
- Know your way around the Linux command Shell (knowledge of Ubuntu an advantage).
- Knowledge of building continuous deployment pipelines, with automated deployment processes.
- General knowledge of multi-tier web applications. Basic understanding of fundamental web-based application concepts (eg browsers, n-tier architectures, databases, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, etc.).
- Scrum development methodology experience, and ability to work collaboratively across the team.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
