Due to our continued success, Mansion House Consulting are now hiring for a number of seasoned Project Managers to join an exciting new project. The project is tasked with the audit of existing applications and managing the transfer of service to an out-sourced model.
Responsibilities:
- Working to a fixed set of scope, the PM will work with application teams to review the current inventory.
- Conduct reviews with application owners with a view to optimising their physical/non- compliant/inefficient/underutilised environment.
- Gain acceptance for proposed designs.
- Raise and track Request for Service' (RfS) packs against the desired end state solution using in-house tools
- Conduct regular meetings with application owners, technical staff and key stakeholders
- Work with technical resources (SA's/DBA's/Developers etc.) and application owners to understand application setup and devise/plan migration strategies
- Ensure application developers/owners are kept informed of the progress and that continued discussions are held to ensure that application technologies are factored in to proposed solution
- Schedule migration windows with app development to ensure smooth cut over of applications to target platform
- Manage migration windows and ensure full support is obtained from all support areas including SA's, DBA's, Network, and Firewall teams
- Report on project progress using the group's project tracker, keeping all relevant data up to date on a weekly basis

Experience/Exposure:
- Previous experience working as an Application PM in a banking Datacentre environment
- Ability to track multiple application related projects and liaise with a diverse set of actors within the data centre environment
- Confident, pragmatic with a tenacious and diligent work ethic
- Appreciation of application terminology, processes and protocols
