The customer is the global leading lighting company in digitalized systems and services business. With the cloud-based IoT platform , customers are enabled to control, maintain, and operate their street lighting installations efficiently. This enable cities to significantly reduce their energy consumption and CO2 footprint.

As an internal innovation startup, has a young and dynamic team carrying The customer in new technology and business areas.



Tasks:

Continuous innovation is a key element of the proposition, extending the functionality and scope of to meet growing customer needs.
As Software Developer you work in an agile scrum team developing our leading cloud-based outdoor lighting management platform.
You design, implement and test features based on user stories in a test-driven agile development process.
You participate in sprint plannings, reviews, and retrospective meetings.
Knowledge / Experience:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years of experience in software development in C#/.Net
Excellent knowledge in the following areas (must have):
Cloud Architecture (AWS)
Message Queues (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
SQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSql, MS SQL)
Event driven Systems (e.g. Kinesis, Storm, StreamInsight)
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage:

Multi-tier client-server architectures
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
JavaScript
Domain Driven Development (DDD)
Behaviour Driven Design (BDD)
Test Driven Development (TDD)


• Good communication skills, team player

• Motivated, self-organized

• Fluent in English
