Consultant - IT Security Architecture (m/w)
Tasks:
Specialist - IT Security Architecture
Responsibilities:
*Technical responsibility for the designing and planning of modern IT security solutions
*Build roadmap for acquiring, integrating, and implementing high-value technology and processes. Oversee efforts (eg proof of concepts) to measure and prove new technology value.
*Ensure that all acquired or developed security systems and security architectures integrate with enterprise security architecture.
*Implementation of IT security concepts taking into account the existing IT infrastructure and processes, as well as current industry standards
*Assessment of existing IT security structures and implementation of IT architecture developments with particular attention to internal security requirements
*Solid understanding of "Cloud XaaS" Infrastructure & Business Applications architectures and the ability to address the unique security considerations of secure Cloud computing"
*Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture and develop security risk management plans.
*Evaluate existing or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, security, compatibility and usability.
*Support the solution design teams esp.within SMART Meter and SMART Grid projects.
*Assist in ongoing evaluation and management of major vendor relationships, outsourcing arrangements and alliance coordination.
*Maintain awareness of business issues and needed capabilities, aligning with existing and new Information Security industry technologies.
*Establish strong relationships with key technology stakeholders and create convergence by demonstrating credibility, empathy and expertise on business and technical issues.
*Facilitate, communicate, collaborate, and persuade others in the definition, adoption and implementation of a coherent architecture.
*Provide mentoring and technical training for the IT Security team members as required.
Competencies/Qualifications:
*Bachelor's in Information Technology, Security or related degree.
*Over 8-10 years of experience in IT Security Architecture and Consulting in an international technology environment.
*Strong understanding of Information Technology and IT Security
*Demonstrable experience of strategic and tactical thinking and working in information sensitive business(es)
*General knowledge of TOGAF and Zachman as well as Certifications, eg CISSP, ISSAP, CISM, CSSLP, CASS, CWASP or equivalent are welcome
*Well grounded technical know-how in the area of IT Security (network, OS, databases, web technologies, application development)
*Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
*Ability to approach problems from an IT security perspective coupled with sound business know-how.
*Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the senior management team and who is able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
*High degree of empathy, assertiveness, and persuasiveness and potential to lead small teams
*English and German language skills fluent up to board level
