Aufgaben:
The Software Verification seeks a Validation Engineer. In this position you join a scrum team that develops solutions for pathology pathways. You will be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the sprint. Software validation decisions are medical workflow driven and the ability to effectively communicate in the team is a key. You are someone who wants to influence your own development. Your key tasks are:
• Functional analysis and review of requirements and specification documents
• Specify test cases and test scenarios based on requirements, user stories or specifications
• Plan, execute, evaluate and document system tests
• Identify issues - raise, evaluate and document them until resolution
• Maintain the system test cases and test data
• Report and track test status and test coverage
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
• Educated to degree level in Bachelor, Diploma, Master of Science or equivalent technical education in biotechnology, health science or comparable discipline
• Work experience in clinic laboratory workflows (e.g. Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine) or instrumentation
• Experience in laboratory analytics software (LIS/LIMS) - IT affine
• Fluent in English and German – CEFR B2
The following skills would be a plus:
• Experience in software testing methods, test processes and test strategies (preferably ISTQB certified tester)
• Acquaintance with agile development practices (SCRUM)
• Experience in applications like Jira, HP ALM, SVN, Jenkins, VMWare or SWISSLAB LIS
• Experience in evaluation studies in customer field
