Cobol Developer, Munich 6 months + Develop + Maintain
My client a global market leader based in Munich are searching for a Cobol Developer, Munich 6 months + Develop + Maintain.
This is a 6 month + project where you have the opportunity to go permanent after.
The tasks: 50% Development and requirements analysis, 50% maintenance
Technical skills preferred: Cobol, CICS, SQL, DB2, REXX, IBM Mainframe
Responsibility would include:
- Interface with business and ITPM for projects in their area of expertise
- In charge of the architecture
- In charge of project (Lead developer)
- In charge of estimations of changes
- Work allocation on Projects/RFC
- Tracking of the work on Projects
- Doing review for the development task and ensuring the Development Quality rules and process are followed.
- SIT test plan preparation
- Coordinating SIT tests and Verifying the outputs
- Business co-ordination during UAT
- Code development
- Unit tests
- SIT tests
- UAT support
- Addressing defects during UAT
English speaking is a must for this project.
Beneficial - German Or French speaking.
