Senior Clinical Programmer - Hessen, DE - 12 Months - €80 per hourOptimus Life Sciences and a client in Germany are working together to find a Clinical Programmer to join them on-site for a long-term project working with colleagues in the US. The role supports cross departmental cooperation between Data Management & Biostatistics with the programming of requests relating to publications and regulatory submissions.
The role leads the development and maintenance of data quality standards and performs the necessary programming and validation steps to ensure that regular and on-demand data quality control can be performed in clinical studies.
The contract will run for an initial 12 months, but has the potential to run for longer depending on the quality of the incumbents work during the project. The position is to be based on site in a large German town, with easy access to an international airport.

Tasks
- Work with clinical study team to develop continuous data quality standards.
- Assist with the set-up and maintenance of a suite of reports.
- Assist with the implementation and organization of automated regular reports.
- Collaborates with colleagues cross-departmentally to ensure the quality and accuracy for submission readiness.
- Development of Data Visualization tools.
- Establish data storage in such a way that ensures a system suited to easy location and retrieval of necessary data.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience (Clinical Programming, Clinical Data Management or statistical programming).
- Excellent understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, AdAM).
- Knowledge in statistical programming using SAS.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix organisation.
- Fluent in English, oral and in writing.
