Interaction/UX Designer (Senior) - Berlin - Up to 550p/d
Our start-up aspires to make the Internet of Things happen and dramatically simplify and speed up the development and operation of IoT solutions. With deep consumer insights and the experience from a service driven business, built on technology and a strong partner ecosystem, we will make bringing great customer value propositions to life simpler. Our proposition will bring together required hardware(1), the platform(2) and the Front End(3) to allow for fast IOT enablement and creation of IOT based products and services.
The Role
The interaction designer's primary responsibility will be to drive the user experience from end-to-end, including user research, wireframes, quick prototypes, user interface and usability testing; and be co-responsible with the software/development leads for fully functional code supporting compelling interactive experiences that look and work great for the intended user segments.
Desired Skills & Mindset

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent area
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in design/product development/UX/UI
- Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)
Design experience
- Experience with designing consumer quality products (wearables is a plus), enabling business capability and objectives through technology.
- Visual design skills, including use of a diverse set of software such as Adobe suite, Sketch or other tools for visual design.
- Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing Rapid prototyping including use of a diverse set of software such as InVision
- Knowledge and experience of Agile software development process
