On behalf of one of our clients, a financial institution located in Frankfurt, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Software Developer (f/m) Clearing Applications
Tasks/responsibilities
- Design, build, test and fix-it of Clearing applications and architecture components.
- Support during the rollout phase of new releases and release introduction.
- Collaboration in a multi-cultural international team.
- Prime focus could be either build or test or both.
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree or higher technical degree in an IT related discipline
- Technical skills in the following domains
- Software development in Java/JEE.
- JBoss
- Linux
- SQL-database expertise in PostgreSQL
Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage
- Programming in Python, Shell Scripting in general.
- Agile development methods.
- Knowledge of financial derivatives.
Inter-personal skills are essential:
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Highly self-motivated, self directed and attentive to details
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural international team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
