Calypso Developer
I am currently hiring a Calypso Developer for a client of mine in Germany. The successful Calypso Developer will be offered a contract of 12 months to begin with as this is a very long term project.
Description:
- Hands-on experience on Calypso that includes mid & Back Office processes modules like Trade Support, Accounting, Payments Processing & Settlement.
- Good understanding of Workflows, STP, Messages, Postings, Settlement Instructions, Market Data, Static Data Management.
- Good exposure in the Financial Markets domain and a good understanding of the trade life cycle of asset classes - FX, Equities
- Experience creating extensions to Calypso API (like Workflow Rules, Scheduled Tasks, Custom Engines, Accounting Generation, Reports).
- Experience with core Java, Java with XML, JDBC - expected to analyze & modify Java programs for data extracts, uploads written for Calypso.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle/Sybase. Expected to analyze, modify & debug SQL & PL/SQL code for custom Calypso modules
- Should have hands-on experience on UNIX commands and Shell Scripting. Expected to have the ability to understand the existing Shell Scripts, modify & debug the scripts.
- Experience with any Software Versioning Tools like ClearCase, SVN
- Good communication skills, oral & written and fluency with English
Must have skills:
Core Java, Java with XML, JDBC and Oracle/Sybase/Unix commands
