For our client located in Dusseldorf we are currently looking for a Senior IT Consultant/Business Analyst with Energy Trading experience for a Risk Cube project.

Tasks
Interpreting transaction reporting requirements across all commodities/products which are traded by the company:
- Identify and engage with the stakeholders to:
- Identify, document and engineer requirements
- Moderate and manage scope
- First point of contact for business to be consulted on requirements
- Challenge requirements (cost/benefit analysis)
- Communicate requirements with all stakeholders
- Be part of a team of experienced BA's on projects which range from small to complex, cascading information to several related projects and programs, becoming a subject matter expert eventually
- Help to identify proper IT-solution (Solution evaluation + recommendations)
- Support INT and UAT testing with knowledge
- Support the BA community
Skills:
- Experience as BA, ideally within energy and/or commodity trading
- Educated to degree level, IT and/or related business discipline.
- Excellent Business analysis skills, preferably certified to IIBA standards or equivalent
- Passionate about analysing, structuring and optimizing trading landscape with working knowledge in commodities business
- Robust project and end-to-end change life cycle experience
- Appreciation of general technical concepts (eg databases, security, backup, data harmonization)
- Intercultural awareness and international orientation
- Leadership skills
