Key skills:
- 8+ years of IT experience with n-tier, database and Client Server design/development
- 4+ years experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions, including leadership role in designing shared/reusable enterprise rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander.
- Previous experience as a lead system architect on large-scale enterprise implementations
- Proven implementation experience in integration of PEGA in existing/Legacy application landscape
- Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation
- Experience in working internationally and in remote teams
- PEGA LSA certification.
- Open communication style.
- Relevant experience in non-PEGA development technologies.
- Capability to cooperate with different stakeholders in IT.
- Industry experience in Underwriting systems/product systems
Main responsibilities:
During Inception
- Ensure feasibility of general requirements
- DCO sessions participation
During Elaboration
- Ensure feasibility of general requirements, conducting PoCs
- DCO sessions participation
- Drive and document key design decisions for implementation
During Construction
- Provide the team with the design approach for key functionality
- Supports the developers during the development,
- Serve as escalation point to resolve technical issues
- Approving architecture designs for implementation
- Detailed components code reviews
- Overal application code reviews and quality control to ensure developer guidelines have been followed
- Enhance developer guidelines in cooperation with CoE
- Control logs, alerts in Pega on a regular basis
- Controll technical project documentation is sufficient
- Communication with Pega support team to resolve complex technical issues, validate hot-fixes
- Performance issues resolution
- Security issues resolution
- Product preparation for deployment
- Deployment tracking and controlling
- Initiate Pega SRs
General Tasks:
- Participation in regular architecture meetings
- Closely communicate with the CoE team on architecture questions
- Technical consultations (communications, explanations etc)
