Goetzfried Professionals GmbH is a consulting and supporting partner in the IT and engineering field for numerous companies of all sizes as well as from different industrial and economic sectors. Their expertise includes the conception, planning and realization of IT as well as engineering projects, further complex managed services and solutions. Therefore, Goetzfried Professionals GmbH places their employed IT experts and engineers to the disposal of their clients in order to realize their projects. In alliance with Goetzfried AG and the Allgeier Group Goetzfried Professionals is a competent, high-performance and constantly growing IT-, Engineering and Staffing Service Company.

Currently we are looking for a new member of our team of experts in order to accept an assignment as IT Configuration and IT Service Continuity Manager (f/m) in Frankfurt including the following area of responsibility:

Main tasks and specific technical competencies:
- Ensure Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) information is accurate, controlled and available.
- Perform required modifications and enhancements to CMDB and the Configuration Management System (CMS).
- Organise the process of and keep IT Configuration Items (CI’s) regularly up-to-date.
- Load Configuration Items (CI) Data and relationships into the CMDB.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc configuration audits and reporting tasks.
- Identify discrepancies and route them to Change Management for resolution
- Implement defined CMDB structural information.
- Implement proper access control mechanisms to CMDB records.
- Support of the preparation, performance and follow-up of IT Service Continuity Management tests and tasks.
- Assist during the IS Recovery test preparation phase and also during crisis recovery procedures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the IT service continuity management plan.
- Assist in the preparation of the Test Reports and the resulting action plan.
- Implement and manage production of IT configuration and service continuity management status reporting, metrics and benchmarks.
- Management of responses to audit requests regarding the availability and interlinking of Configuration Items (CI’s) and results of IT Service Continuity Management tests.
- Apply pre-defined ITIL-based processes, procedures and methods to support and maintain the banks IT Configuration and Service Continuity Management framework and functions.
- Review the currently performed configuration management process and develop advancements to improve the content of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Advise the relevant project managers as well as managers responsible for projects, programs, infrastructure and application portfolios on configuration and service continuity management strategies and recommend actions to optimize the configuration data and service recovery capability.
- Collect requirements, analyse and evaluate proposals, conduct negotiations and implement specifications according to defined process workflows.

Requirements (Must have):
Mandatory generic technical competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or related disciplines)
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven working experience in operating the IT Configuration Management process for at least 3 years.
- Proven data processing, extraction and manipulation skills (Excel Pivot-table or equivalent etc.) for at least 2 years.
- Working experience with additional ITIL Service Management processes and best practices, i.e. ITIL Service Management processes regarding IT Service Continuity V2 and/or V3 (i. e. ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner certification).
- Working experience with IT Service Management tools, i. e. Marval, HP Service Manager, HP UCMDB or others.
- A very good command of English with proven drafting ability.

Generic technical competencies being an asset:
- Solid foundation in IT applications, operations, service and support.
- Experience in team/group facilitation and training would be an advantage.
- A good to very good end-user knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including in particular MS Excel and MS Access as well as MS Outlook and MS Project.
- High levels of personal integrity when conducting the professional IT Configuration and Service Continuity Management of the Bank and dealing with sensitive and confidential data in this context.
- Calmness and clarity of thought while under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
