As a Software Engineer Legacy Data you are responsible for filtering, transforming and migrating data from various sources into the Swisslab LIS for a variety of disciplines in the medical lab. The areas of your responsibility in internal and external, national and international project settings include:* Analysis and documentation of customer requirements and implementation of a wide range of interfaces and transformation processes
* Module testing of system components and documentation of test results
* Regular delivery of status reports to (sub-) project management
* Delivery of technical solutions to 2nd level customer support
* Educated to degree level in computer sciences or comparable education
* Working experience with IT systems in healthcare environment
* Special knowledge and proven practical use of ETL-methods, SQL
* Knowledge of ETL-Tools like Talend Data integration or similar
* Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: Java, Smalltalk or HL7
* Experience in project work
