Business Analyst | Frankfurt | 6 months Initial | Market Rate | Banking | Software Development
Square One are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst for a 6 month contract working with one of our major clients working in Frankfurt Germany.
In the role of Business/Functional Analyst, roles and responsibilities would include:
- Solves organizational information problems and requirements by analysing/modelling requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols for multiple projects related to Tributum and other interacting application.
- Complete project deliverables according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Communicate complicated ideas and technical details in clear business terms that align to technical solutions
- Resolve ambiguity with right sized written communication
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Analyzing requirements, creating business models, constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Defines project requirements & high level design within a broader team context
- Maintains system and Functional protocols by writing and updating procedures
- Analyze, plan, elicit requirements, create test cases, execute test cases, implementation planning, and implementation execution.
Required Skills
- Financial Services and investment banking background with Knowledge on Germany Taxation and German Tax withholding
- Experience of working on Tributum
- Strong analytical, quantitative & problem solving skills
- In depth knowledge of business operations and processes with the ability to articulate these processes to others.
- Experience with analysis planning, eliciting requirements, creating test cases, executing test cases, implementation planning, and implementation execution.
- Experience with project methodology and project life cycles.
- Understand and apply technology as it relates to the business
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments while being able to shift priorities to meet the current business environment needs.
- Effective written communication skills to deliver articulate and concisely summarize information.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and other Business Process Model tool
- Experience developing and revising business process models.
- Working knowledge with the following applications:
- MS Visio
- Involves diverse people in the requirements elicitation process
- Active Listening, leads with opened ended questions and closes with a solid understanding
- Experience working with offshore/onshore resources
- Experience with software/tool modernization and process improvement projects
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams through ambiguity into clarity to complete work quickly at the right level of quality
