Our client is a market leader in the telecommunications field who are looking a Senior Python Software Engineer. They will be to join the Cloud Operations and Analytics team and the role is based in Munich, Germany. The Senior Python Software Engineer will be responsible for the rapid prototyping of new OpenStack features for my client's Cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
- Rapid prototyping of innovative OpenStack features.
- Design of resilience enhancements for OpenStack.
- Implement fault-injection and recovery strategies.
- Develop and maintain software development procedures.
Required Experience:
- Expert level programming in Python.
- Demonstrated ability to solve challenging engineering problems.
- Knowledge of message queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ.
- Good working knowledge of Linux, MySQL, Apache, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization.
- Experience building distributed, highly reliable and scalable systems.
- Developing experience of OpenStack.
- Experience with fault-injection techniques is a plus.
- BSc Degree in Computer Science is required, MSc is preferred.
