Aufgaben:
We are currently looking for an expert in hadoop (m/w) for a datawarehouse architecture project in the financial industry (approximately 80% workload per week)

Your tasks:
+ Support in evaluation and development of Hadoop architecture for a datawarehouse platform
+ Support / Coaching of developers / administrators in implementation and configuration of Hadoop architecture
+ Technical support for Enterprise-System and Data architecture for Hadoop / Oracle
+ Development and Implementation of security concepts and back-up strategies.

Anforderungen:
Skill profile:
+ M.Sc. (e.g. M.Sc. in Econometrics) or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or any other comparable degree with risk management focus including empirical, quantitative analysis and methods)
+ Several years of experience in the field of Hadoop Architecture
+ Quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
+ Profound knowledge in Oracle, Hadoop, MapReduce and Hive
+ Experience and knowledge in Kafka, Spark, Storm
+ Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional knowledge of German will be an asset
+ Excellent command of MS office
+ High commitment and motivation, take on responsibility, creativity and the ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
