Job Description Intern - Trace & Debug Tools development (m/f) - 794116 Description Job Description: We are looking for a qualified students who can work as an intern and also in the process assist in various software development activities. The main area of interest is statistical and data analysis with the focus on graphical representation in a cross platform environment using MATLAB. Specific need would be to extend the existing software to cover more scenarios to give as a better overview of the behavior of our products. Intern would be working in a very diverse international environment interacting with people from different Geos. We are offering flexible working hours that should help in balancing between work and education. The offering is targeted for at least 6 months, preferably for 1 year. Qualifications Primary Requirements: - Must be an active daily student of Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent. - In order to reach to an acceptable level of work efficiency, we are expecting availability of 20 hours per week or more. - Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) - Ability to learn new technologies and grow with the challenges faced - Ability to closely collaborate in a team - Reliable, disciplined and responsible - Experienced in programming with Java or C++ (or other comparable language) on Windows O/S - Analytical mind and experience with debugging/analyzing existing SW Nice to have Requirements: - Programming with MATLAB and Python - Exposure to web based technologies (HTML, JavaScript, ...) - Software development life cycle and tooling (version control, issue tracking, continuous integration) - Mac OS X/Linux (usage and development) Job Category: Software Engineering Primary Location: Germany Germany, Munich Full/Part Time: Full Time Job Type: Student/Intern Regular/Temporary: Temporary Posting Date: Mar 17, 2016 Apply Before: Ongoing Business Group The Platform Engineering Group (PEG) is responsible for the design, development, and production of system on-a chip (SoC) products that go into Intel's next generation client and mobile platforms.
