Software Engineer - Python/Spark - Berlin - contract - 18 months +
A well funded start up from New York is currently building a subdivision in Berlin and is therefore looking to hire a Software Engineer with excellent Python and Spark experience on a long term contract base.
To be successful for this job as a Software Engineer you will have 2-3 years experience within a relevant position as a Software Engineer with exposure and hands on experience with Python and Spark, additional programming languages would be a plus. You will also have experience with SQL/DB and solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and excellent English knowledge are a must to be considered.
This opportunity is located in the heart of Berlin, a vibrant environment for start-ups. Frequent trips to the HQ in New York will be part of this job. There will also be the opportunity to work from home several times a week if desired. This job as a Software Engineer is a long term contract, suitable also for permanent candidates as the client is looking for someone to stay for several years.
