Business Intelligence Analyst - Hadoop, Hive, Spark, AWS, MySQL
Darwin are looking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst to work with one of our Key Customers, an eCommerce company in Berlin. You will be responsible for developing their Big Data unit with consistent infrastructure, creating a data driven environment and support their business with data insights, retrieving, analysing and presenting critical data and help management to translate it into business strategy. Also defining and implementing proof of concepts for data driven solutions and processes to enhance the online marketing performance and finally developing new BI reports while working on the interface between Business Intelligence and different departments.
Skills
- Bachelor/Master's degree in a related area such as Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics
- 2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, preferably in an E-commerce/Internet-based company with large and complex data sources
- Hadoop, Hive, Spark and AWS
- Experience writing SQL queries and with relational DBMS's like MySQL
- Good knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripts
- Experience with reporting tools, familiarity with Tableau is an advantage
- Experience with ETL Tools and concepts
- Knowledge of the specific challenges in online marketing and how to approach them in an innovative and highly technical level
- Fluent English skills
