Job Title: Project Planner - Business Transformation (Bi-Lingual German and English speaking)
Type: Contract

Rate: Up to €660 per day

Purpose of role
We are looking for a Project Planner to play a key role in delivery of client Transformation Programmes.
As a project planner, you will work closely with the Project Managers and workstream leads to understand, define, update and monitor the project plan through all stages of the project life cycle.
The projects we support typically include both operational and technical transformation, so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of Project Planning as part of a wider business transformation project. We also often work in complex, multi-agency environments, so experience of working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders is highly desirable.
Key Accountabilities
- Understands the key stages of project and programme management methodology
- Develops and update the project master schedule to include all stakeholder requirements and interfaces
- Works closely on a day to day basis with Project Manager(s) and PMO
- Reports to the Project Manager(s) any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date
- Responsible (with the Project Managers) for review of project plans and liaise with workstream leaders regarding progress on their plans
- Reviews actual progress and prepare and maintain an updated project master schedule
- In an effort to manage and mitigate delays (if any), reviews the programme and propose alternative strategies to mitigate risks to the project
- Provides support to the team in understanding risks and opportunities of changes to the project plan
- Promotes and fosters a strong team culture and open and transparent communication
- Ensure quality standards are met
Skills and Experience
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Holds, or is working toward PRINCE2® practitioner qualification or equivalent
- Ability to apply appropriate project and programme planning frameworks and templates to suit client needs
- Some experience of working on large, complex or high risk projects
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients
- Demonstrable understanding of Telecoms market
- Demonstrable understanding of the project and programme life cycle
- Demonstrable skills and experience in project planning, including mapping of dependencies between tasks within project plans and linking of different plans
- Strong MS Project and MS Excel skills, including the ability to extract data from MS Project into MS Excel
- Good MS PowerPoint/Visio skills
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent qualification
