Chef/Puppet, Linux - DevOps Engineer - Frankfurt - Contract - German speaking
Work as part of a mobilisation team working across many different clients, responsible for the installation and configuration of tooling to support a continuous integration/delivery approach to software development and the delivery of development and test environments using automated system configuration tools such as Chef and Puppet.
As part of the mobilisation, the solution is fully documented before being handed over to an offshore operations team for ongoing support.
Required Skills/Experience
Continuous Integration/Delivery tools/methodology (Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Selenium)
Unix/Linux Administration
Virtualisation technologies (eg Virtualbox, Vagrant)
Monitoring software - (eg Nagios, Zenoss)
System Configuration frameworks (eg Chef, Puppet)
Strong Scripting ability (Perl, Ruby, Unix Shell etc)
Software Configuration Management (eg Git, Subversion)
