The IMACD Support Specialist is responsible for the Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of Roche standard Hardware for end users. Our goal is to provide a strongly customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.Main Tasks
• Work with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
• Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment
• Deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
• Reclaim hardware process
• Handling of the repair process
• Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
• Request HW via ARIBA
• Act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers
Requirements (Language, technology, certificates, degrees)
• High school diploma and informatics education (SIZ…)
• Minimum of 2 years’ technical experience in a desk side support position
• Excellent technical skills for analyzing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
• Knowledge of PC Hardware and Periphery. Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
• Experience with at least one Ticketing tool (e.g. HPSM)
• Strong communication abilities and customer focused behavior
• Experience with ITIL (Foundation)
• Technical writing for documentation
• Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
Nice to Haves:
+++ Roche experience
++ MCP – MCSE certification is an advantage
Latest start date: First week of April.
Remote is not an option for this position.
Extension is currently not planned for this project. There might however be other projects in the same environment. Good candidates could then be asked to join again for a similar position.
