Data Integration Engineer
Are you a Data Integration Engineer looking for your next contract role? Do you have proven experience using Hadoop, Flume and Kafka?
Type: Contract (6 months)
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Salary: Up to 750 per day
As a Data Integration Engineer you will be responsible for the Design of the Data Integration piece (Files, Data Streams and Databases etc) to the Big Data System solution.
Responsibilities for the Data Integration Engineer will include (but not limited to):
- Support Architecture and Design of a large Big Data System
- Negotiate Interface Agreements with the owners of internal data sources
- Steer Developers so that they are enabled to implement the needed interfaces with sufficient performance
- Support the Quality Manager by testing the solution
Skills required for the Data Integration Engineer include (but are not limited to):
- Strong Background in Enterprise IT Architecture and Solution Design
Proven experience with Data Integration projects in Big Data projects and mass data applications at Terabyte/Petabyte scale - Knowledge of Hadoop, Flume, Kafka, Sqoop etc
