For our client in Cologne we are currently looking for a Security Analyst (f/m) to join on a freelance basis.
Contract type: Freelance
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 9 mths++
Location: Cologne
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
* Security Services involve the operating, maintenance, support and development of security solutions aligned with Information Security Policy.
* Main tasks include:
- Activity Security Architecture, but also Security Infra and Business projects support. Security consulting, especially workplace/mobile and tools, local & global, IT network infrastructure, Data security & privacy.
- Understand key security processes: eg security patch management, vulnerability management, threat management, security event management, policy compliance.
Contribute to security related projects.
- Provide risk assessments
- Support projects.
Skills:
* Broad knowledge of technical principles of domains and platforms; Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), Network Technologies, Databases and Applications
* Good level of technical security skills at infrastructure level
Good knowledge in following areas:
- Security architecture, network design & components (CheckPoint, Cisco Firewall, AlgoSec)
- Good understanding of operating system security settings as well as OS hardening
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
* Certified Information Systems Security
* Professional (CISSP) is a plus
* Ability to work independently as well as a good team player..
* Customer-oriented with very good communication skills and proactive attitude.
* Ability to translate technical solutions into easy to under-stand common language.
* Local language (German for Germany) + English (mandatory)
