SAP/IT Project Manager German Speaking Carve-Out Project
Senior Project Manager with experience in carve-out project.
Lead a project to couple IT systems
Scope of work: The Project Manager will lead the IT carve-out activities at the client site, engaging with various Application Owners and business stakeholders.
The applications affected include ERP (mainly SAP), Financial systems, QA systems (Aris Global, Sparta), desktop and collaboration infrastructure.
Role of consultant: The project will include determination of approach on a system by system basis and include design and management of transition processes and services.
A strong knowledge of IT architecture as well as a background in business analysis, business process modelling and sound interpersonal skills are essential requirements; as is the ability to interact with different stakeholders across multiple functions and at all organizational levels.
level: Level 3 - Senior: 6-9 years
Degree in Business Informatics or equivalent must
Experience and knowledge of IT project and program management (ideally certified - eg PMI) must
Previous experience of complex IT carve-outs and integrations and strong knowledge of best practice and procedures must
Knowledge of best practice approaches, especially for separation of regulated systems must
Additional know-how and comments: Good understanding of IT migration procedures
Ideally experienced in SAP Landscape Transformation Services
Knowledge of specific project methodologies and processes would be an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience with modern communication and collaboration platforms
Experience managing virtual teams in an international environment, coordination of suppliers and delivery resources, interaction with business and management contact, alignment with IT architecture
Excellent organizational skills and results orientation, with good attention to detail, issue tracking and risk management.
IT Project & Program Management - including tools and processes
Data Migration Tools, eg ETL, SAP LT
IT Architecture, including interfaces (eg ERP to QA, Finance systems etc)
