Software Development Engineer (f/m) F379
Tasks/Responsibilities
The software engineer will work in the software development team of the project; tasks include:
Design and Implementation within the core trading area and its low-latency architecture,
Ensuring source code quality by unit tests and reviews
Documentation and presentation of design, implementation and test results,
Analysis of problems identified during software development, in various test stages, simulation and production
Ability to exchange Ideas with other developers and teams
Performance and latency analysis; respective tests and implementation of required changes
Support during Specification and Requirement-gathering phases for technical feasibility and impact analysis
Target platform is Linux.
Qualifications/Required Skills
Experience of software development in large projects
Practical experience in C++ with clear focus on Object Oriented programming), ideally experience with concurrent processing
Profound experience in Python, MySQL
Knowledge in area of network protocol and inter-process communication and Interest in low-latency architectures is beneficial
Knowledge in trading of stocks, ETFs as well as derivatives (options/futures) is beneficial
Good oral and written communications skills
Good overview and knowledge of open source software
Ability to work in an international project team on a long term project.
A good command of English is a must. German welcome.
