Task:He/She will be responsible for the technical realization of changes to the clinical data management system. This position will aid in designing and coordinating the implementation. He/She will apply communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues in order to maximize the functionality of the systems.
He/She will support:
- the collection and analysis of requirements needed for systems development and deployment.
- the continuous analysis of the clinical data system and make recommendations to improve stability, performance and availability.
Requirements (Must have):
Experience and Required Skills: This position requires a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or demonstrated equivalent skills. Experience should include:
- Up to 10 years of experience as a systems administrator for various production systems in the regulated industry.
- Ability to oversee the installation and qualification of system software, patch levels, third-party products, shareware, etc.
- Ability to create and maintain compliant (GxP) system documentation.
- Proficient with common unix tools, e.g. shell, awk, sed, etc..
- Strong technical competency with server hardware and configurations.
- Extended knowledge about storage technologies.
