For a client, Experis is looking for a System Administrator (m/f) MS Technologies for a project in Nuremberg.Project Description:
* Design and implementation of automated processes as base for Continuous Delivery, automated testing and deployments
* Understand and translate software project requirements into an infrastructure planning
* Maintain technical operations for our infrastructure, administer Linux systems, including configuration, troubleshooting and automation
* Windows system administration duties
* Documentation and creation of operational manuals
* Handover operations to system management
* Screen and evaluate current technology-trends for feasibility and help to integrate this new technologies
* Technical risk management - Escalate all hardware and application infrastructure problems occurring during project transition to Project Transition Manager
Skills:
* Solid know-how working with Linux and Windows
* Experience with configuration management / system automation tools (e.g. Puppet)
* Experience with database administration and/or big data systems (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, Hadoop, NoSQL and SQL)
* Experience with management systems and monitoring tools such as Nagios, Icinga, Kibana, Elastic Search
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the development team
* Actively tackle Tasks
Required languages: good written and spoken English and German
