Security Systems Consultant, OpenStack, KVM, Firewalls, Encryption - 6 Month Contract
Our client is looking for a contractor with experience in secure systems engineering, for a leading German company in Bavaria. This is a 6 month rolling contract with the chance of an extension.
You will join a new team dedicated to ensuring security standards for the new company products running on the clients Back End platform.
They need senior contract staff to:
Ensure the Back End has not been breached
Establish a process to assess change management requests and develop features wrt security requirements
Develop, maintain and install security tools that comply with the guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working on secure systems engineering and system admin.
Experience of security concepts for encryption, hardening, Firewalls and intrusion
Solid Linux operating system experience, Virtualisation (OpenStack/KVM)
Scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, PHP)
Network Monitoring
Any experience in continuous Integration/continuous delivery would be helpful
Experience in one of the following software languages C, C++ or Java
