Beschreibung

For one of our international client we are looking for a CIO (ad interim), based in Kassel (Germany), Barcelona (Spain) or Budapest (Hungary)

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the development and maintenance of the IT strategy
  • Management of the Global IT organisation and the creation of a world class IT team with the vision and desire to implement best in class IT environment
  • Develop a global short- and mid-term IT roadmap
  • Plan and execute projects as per defined roadmap (time, costs and solution)
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for Group IT budget
  • Develop global IT standards and ensure implementation
  • Select vendors and negotiate contracts based on buy vs. make strategy
  • Implement a performance and continuous improvement oriented culture
  • Define, roll-out and ensure policies and best in class processes globally
  • Identify capability and capacity gaps within the IT organisation including the implementation of a new IT vision and mission
  • Provide leadership, guidance and sponsorship for key IT projects
  • Define and establish a well-functioning IT Governance and personally lead the IT Innovation and strategy committee
  • Communicate timely, transparent and credible, on IT performance, project achievements and progress
  • Establish an effective IT Governance to ensure a smooth communication and decision process, aligned with the organization and overall governance and control environment
  • Develop an appropriate IT KPI system/dashboard across all sites
  • Implement adequate risk management policies and processes
  • Ensure planning and execution of IT projects at highest standards
  • Define and implement an adequate IT Security concept and environment

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate has fluent English Skills (written & spoken) as well as several years of experience in the management of multi-site, multinational IT organizations
  • You are an inspirational leader who can influence and manage change
  • We are looking for excellent organisational and execution skills as well as project management skills and experience in IT- and Organizational transformation projects
  • In your past, you had exposure into industrial environments and gathered experience in running international multi-site ERP projects
  • You are comfortable presenting to and dealing with senior managers and suppliers. You have the drive, vision and leadership qualities to be able to deliver the required substantial business improvements
  • The successful candidate has excellent levels of communication and negotiation skills as well as critical reasoning skills
  • You must be flexible to travel up to 50% to support the requirements of the role
  • We are looking for a person with a University degree in economics or information technology as well as excellent project management methodology knowledge
  • You are pragmatic and goal oriented person and a true team player with a high energy level
  • You strive towards continues improvement
  • A Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MSMIS) and Lean six sigma training would be a plus

Duration: 6 months (extension optional)
Location: possible in Kassel (Germany), Barcelona (Spain) or Budapest (Hungary)
