For my client, a multinational industrial gases and engineering company, I am looking for a motivated and well-organised freelance - Global IA Manager for its site in Munich.The duration of the occupation will be 1,5 years in full-time. On-site is desired.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage Group international assignments - Ensure all key personnel transfer activities are managed accurately and effectively, incl. contractual negotiations and personnel care during the assignment period
- Provide support to the Process and Policy owner (development, customised realisation and adjustments)
- Develop Management tools and reports, which will support information requirements of senior management and the HR community (cost management..)
- Contract Management (ensure compliance with existing international laws)
- Support business strategy (advice the management team, regions, locals and employees in particular situations)
- Manage the relationship with external providers such as Deloitte, ECA International, insurance companies - ensure effective administration and supplier management. Lead renewal discussion, provides selection and appraisal/development of contracts/schemes in response to market or internal requirements
- Career Management (selection processes, performance reviews, preparation, return preparation)
- Proactively undertake a variety of ad hoc projects and support new initiatives as needed
- Maintain internal relationships with the international assignee population, HR community, Pensions Department, Insurance Department, Finance function and payroll by taking ownership and resolving issues
Your qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an adequate HR position
- Experience in multi-cultural and multi-national project teams
- Problem solving/taking initiative and ownership of issue until resolution
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Dealing with a wide range of people
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Ability to work across cultures
- High level of operational abilities, as well as strong organisational and social skills with proven experience in people management
- In-depth knowledge of the HR sector
- Fluency in English required, fluency in other languages preferable
