Background
The telematics platform implements innovative telematics functions which should be re-use in customer projects. Within the platform the OTA-FC is a subproject. The goal of this subproject is the proof of concept of some generic parts of the platform architecture. Parallel to the development of the telematics platform customer specific RFQs should be coordinated and executed. For each of them is required to check which parts reside into the platform itself and which functions must be implemented as customer specific. The customer specific functions will be implemented above the telematics platform.
The responsibility of the Software Engineer Telematics focuses on all area described above, with the focus on the following work packages:
- Supports the definition of the logical use cases for the platform and customer projects and is responsible for the definition of a subset of logical use cases
- Supports the architecture of the telematics platform and customer specific projects and is responsible for the clarification of a subset of technical topics
- Coordinates and leads from the technical point of view with the involved departments.
- The software engineer will leads the logical use cases for the platform and customer projects. Analyses of the different telematics architectures from previous projects and RFQs at XX. As result of future telematics RFQs it is required to adapt the logical uses cases to accommodate the new or changed platform and customer specific requirements. Will be is responsible for the definition of a subset of logical use cases. Use cases are the functional description of the software system independent from the technical solution
- The software architect leads the architecture of the telematics platform and customer specific projects
Other Requirements:
- English speaking (negotiation level)
- Availability of the supplier - 160 h per month,
- Must be available for the meetings with customer, suppliers and team
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
