Tasks & responsibilities:

Is responsible for providing technical statistical consultancy that is relevant in the area of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and reimbursement across Europe, Canada and Australia, e.g. economic modeling, meta-analysis and indirect comparisons, and post-hoc analyses of clinical trials and integrated data bases

Works closely with country affiliates in their local reimbursement submissions in close collaboration with the European HTA function, Health Outcomes Scientists and other Medical and Statistical colleagues

Is a successful problem solver who can use their up-to-date technical expertise to address the diverse HTA requirements and affiliate needs

Is responsible for the design and statistical implementation of observational studies

Ensures high quality statistical support for projects in collaboration with CRO suppliers

Is responsible for communicating analysis results, for example via reimbursement submissions or manuscripts

Participates in peer-reviewing work products from other statistical colleagues

Qualification & Experience

Msc or Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, or equivalent experience

Fluent in English - both oral and written

Strong skills to understand the real need of a customer, that is not familiar with statistics

Strong self-management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills

Work effectively in a Global matrix organization with geographically dispersed/virtual teams

Strong project management skills, business awareness/business development skills

Ability to manage work through third party interactions

Excellent knowledge of statistical theory and methodology, with knowledge specific to HTA and/or auto-immune being an advantage

Proficient in the SAS programming language and other relevant software, e.g. STATA, R, TreeAge

Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage
