Senior Product Design Engineer (m/w) Automotive Interior

Aufgaben:
Currently we are looking for a Senior Product Design Engineer (m/w) with very good knowledge of the development of interior parts like instrument panels and ideally with Audi experiences.

Your daily tasks include:
+ Management of the global Product Design Engineers and CAD designer
+ In charge of the complete design, in compliance with feasibility of product and process, cost, timing, performance and people objectives and within PMS requirements
+ Leading / Tracking of internal tasks / contractor / expert supplier tasks (daily TOP 5 / design meetings / action plans)
+ Organisation of internal design reviews to get a confirmation of created concepts and CAD data from all technical departments
+ Escalation of program intern issues
+ Support for creation of a BOM according to the assembly sequence inside Galileo and using of this BOM inside TDM system (VPM or other) for CAD data storage and CAD lifecycle
+ Controlling of lifecycle process of CAD data of the development or built to print content in used TDM / PDM system (release process)
+ Organisation of CAD data exchange via replication of TDM or Galileo acces
+ Organization of the creation and update of tolerance analysis, tolerance stack book, gap and flush plan in cooperation with Development Engineering
+ Participation at DFMEA (Product)
+ Organisation of DMU process to eliminate all collisions and less space regions between neighbour parts including clarification with the customer
+ Study and respecting of legal, customer an internal requirements (safety, function, styling, technical feasibility, assembly, robustness, weight targets, cost targets, serviceability, recycling, ...)
+ Participation at meetings with customer or extended program team for clarification of all open CAD and design points
+ Lead of functional analysis.

Anforderungen:
+ Master's, bachelor's degree in engineering, technician, or significant professional experience
+ Minimum 5 years of proven experience in design within an industrial environment, preferably on automotive interior parts
+ Experience in plastic construction and mould design
+ Meets the requirements of the Engineering Profile for the function
+ Team leader with strong communication and managerial skills
+ Able to work in a multicultural environment
+ English and German required
