For the Hamburg IT-department of a leading and worldwide operating company in the materials handling technology sector we are looking for a

Web Solution Architect (m/f)

Skills:
– Degree with relevance to this function (in IT, business IT) or similar educational background
– Good knowledge of software development methods, databases, distributed environments, frameworks and tools
– Solid knowledge of Java Open Source tools & frameworks, such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven
– Deep expertise in the development of Java based web applications
– Expertise in the development of modern, responsive web applications based on HTML5, ideally AngularJS
– Experience in usage of common development tools, such as Eclipse, Oracle SQL Developer, Subversion, Tortoise, Jenkins
– Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
– Familiar with IT Service Management processes (change and incident management)
– Responsibility, initiative and a systematic, solution-focused mindset
– High level of customer focus and results orientation
– Fluent in written and spoken English
– Must enjoy working in a team
– Experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector would be beneficial

Tasks:
– Customer demand analysis and classification
– Creation of architecture & design specifications
– Execution of technical realization projects of Web applications (primarily Java based)
– Coordination and monitoring of external suppliers and off-shore development team
– Quality assurance
– Application management for internally and externally operated applications

Start: as soon as possible
Period: 100 days (6 months)
