C+ Developer/Applied Mathematics/Geo Information Systems
From mid of January 2016 in Berlin
Meelogic Consulting AG develops IT solutions for a mobile and interconnected world on the basis of an in depth understanding of technologies and markets in the digital age.
Founded by IT professionals in 2011, today we work in international teams at three locations for well-known customers. These customers are established in their respective industries comprising telecommunication, information technology, automotive, medical technology, energy, mobile, media, transport, logistics and E-commerce.

At mid of January 2016 we are looking for a C++ 11 Developer for one of our projects in Berlin.
YOUR TASKS
- Work on the development of SW applications for Geographic Information Systems and Navigation Devices
YOUR PROFILE
- Deep understanding of C++ 11
- Good know how in Python or another Scripting language
- Background in applied mathematics and/or (geo) physics
- Passion for algorithms and mathematics
- Strong focus on performance aspects
- Experience with Linux based systems including system administration basics
- comfort in developing cross-platform and addressing portability issues,
- comfort with threading and IPC
- knowledge of Boost C++ libraries
- Experience in unit testing
- Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with big projects in an international environment
- Experienced in working in an agile/scrum environment (and the related tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins etc..)
- Good team player
PROJECT DETAILS
- Project duration: initially 3- 4 months (extension is possible, probably we will need help for 10-12 month)
- Start date: January 2016
- Location: Berlin
- Working mode: 100% onsite
