The Business Entity
Working with sales and partner teams, provides solution level consulting expertise to large, strategic customers (Fortune 500). Ability to work cross-functional with multiple business units and solution teams to leverage multiple technologies in creating end to end and/or vertical specific solutions for our customers. Correlates business issues around technology and processes and is able to create an architectural solution specific to a given customer or segment. Able to articulate this vision across Executives and Technical Decision Makers.

The Team
Works across broad team of engineers and ensures a systems approach to the integrity of the customer solution which includes multiple technologies across the network and application layers.

Role & Responsibilities
• Develops and incubates new service strategies and articulate them within a technical and business framework.
• Influences support processes including; Methods and Procedures, Best Practice Documentation and Industry Thought Leadership to improve the effectiveness and relevance of the service practice.
• Acts as the technical specialist for the most complex architectures through identifying and prioritizing the architecturally significant requirements, determining the style of the system architecture (i.e., the major system patterns), and identifying the major functions of the system including the system data, hardware, and software components.
• Responsible for assisting in the integration of the solution into an existing infrastructure, which would drive systems integration and implementation approaches, including the identification and integration of Third Party products and services into a cohesive solution design.
• Responsible for providing thought leadership through writing technical white papers, presenting at Industry Events, and mentoring of peers and managers on the voice systems and architectural challenges

Minimum Qualification:
• Fluency in English and German
• Passionate, persuasive, charismatic thought leader capable of quickly establishing executive interest in how to architect, deploy and operate the Collaboration platform of the future.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation and chalkboard skills
• Experience in Enterprise applications, solutions and collaboration infrastructures.
• Understands and can articulate the value and business advantage of collaboration
• Strong customer-facing sales and architectural skills.
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and excitement with CxO to Mid Managers, as well as work collaboratively with hands on technical professionals.
• Proven ability to document, propose and present comprehensive collaboration architecture recommendations
• Deep expertise in Unified Communications and broader Collaboration
• Fluency in high availability, and operational disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.)
• Fluency in network technologies. Proven track record in an industry or horizontal solution area.
• Ability to solve problems with innovative ideas and work across a large number of stakeholders effectively with demonstrated leadership skills.

Desired skills:
• CCIE or CCDE certification preferable
• ITIL and TOGAF Certification preferred.
