In cooperation with premium companies our employees develop individual and practice-oriented solutions.For a challenging long-term project in Eschborn near Frankfurt Main we are looking for a Technical Test Engineer with expertise in infrastructure management (f/m). Also welcome: Profiles of Python developers with good knowledge of Linux / Linux Administrators with good knowledge of Python
Our client: a renowned company in the financial sector.
TASKS:
- Perform performance and technical tests; document results and track implementation
- Design and implement new test procedures for failover/recovery scenarios
- Adaptation/Development of distributed transaction feed procedures, mostly in Python
- Implementation of automated result analysis
- Support in Management of various infrastructures for tests
- Exchange knowledge with Production operations teams
Target platform is Linux.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Very good knowledge of Python scripting / development
- Deep (>3 years) knowledge of Linux, with a focus in any of the areas:
* High availability systems - operations experience
* Performance monitoring and tuning
* Messaging architectures
- Experience of software development in large projects
- Good overview and knowledge of open source software
Additional Domain & Business Skills
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods would be an advantage.

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in an international project team
- A good command of English is a must. German welcome
- Interested in financial sector / banking / stock brokering
