Project Description- Design and implementation within the core trading area and its low-latency architecture
- Ensuring source code quality by unit tests and reviews
- Documentation and presentation of design, implementation and test results
- Analysis of problems identified during software development, in various test stages, simulation and production
- Ability to exchange ideas with other developers and teams
- Performance and latency analysis, respective tests and implementation of required changes
- Support during specification and requirement-gathering phases for technical feasibility and impact analysis
Qualifications
- Experience of software development in large projects
- Practical experience in C++, object oriented programming, ideally concurrent programming
- Profound experience in Python, MySQL
- Knowledge in area of network protocol and inter-process communication
- Interest in low-latency architectures and trading of stocks, ETFs and derivatives
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Good overview and knowledge of open source software
- Ability to work in an international project team
- A good command of English is a must, German welcome
