My client, following a very successful year is currently seeking 2 Software Engineers to join their established team in the Konstanz area of Germany. They are a specialist in the provision of space simulators for various customers. Some key information regarding the positions are as follows:
Time Plan: from Nov 2015 until July 2017
Skills/Knowledge:
Experience in C++ and Java programming required.
Working experience with Linux OS required.
Working experience with version control system (eg SVN) required.
Software Verification Experience required (Test Levels, Black Box vs White Box).
Experience working with eclipse desired.
Understanding of electrical signals desired.
Space Systems background desired.
Good knowledge of the English language (reading and writing technical documentation) required.
Options:
Working experience with Milbus-1553 or other data buses required
OR
Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Attitude Orbit Control System (AOCS) in Space Systems
Activities:
Write the Technical Specification for Satellite Equipment Models.
Coding and Testing of Satellite Equipment Models.
Configuration Control of Code and Test using SVN Repositories.
Documentation of Model unit and integration tests.
Integration and Test of Satellite Equipment Models within Real Time Environment Test Bench (RTE).
Preparation of model unit and integration test log files for End Item Data Packages.
