ION Anvil Developer
ION Anvil Developer is urgently required for a long-term ION Anvil implementation that is nearing the end of analysis phase. The initial contract will be for 2 years with high probability of extension. The client is implementing ION Anvil for their securities derivatives (primarily repos) business across their whole group globally.
The ION Anvil Developer will gather install, support and maintain the ION Anvil system. The ION Anvil Developer will develop and maintain high performance interfaces for trade and market data between the ION bus and internal and external systems. The ION Anvil Developer will develop a framework to distribute trade data both in and out of the custom components on the platform and will also build a reporting solution.
The ION Anvil Developer must have deep application knowledge of the ION Anvil system and be a subject matter expert on the securities derivatives/securities borrowing/lending industry, especially on repos.
The ION Anvil Developer will ideally have senior experience in the ION platform, for example, in ION Bus, MMI/MarketView ) and be an expert on Java and ION API. Other useful technical skills include C++, C#, Perl, Sybase T-SQL and PL/SQL.
Business skills in repos and securities finance are a plus.
The ION Anvil Developer will also have extensive experience of cross cultural projects.
