We require an Expert Software Engineer to join our Software Development team in South West Germany to Develop a Medical Work-Flow Device for a huge Multi-National Company. It's an English speaking site, so English is essential and German is only beneficial (German not essential). The chosen candidate could expect multiple renewals. This will be a long-term contract for this right person.
The duties of this role are below.
Developing global hospital WPF CMS. Using C#4 (Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7).
Gathering requirements
Troubleshooting Performance & Stability issues
Working with Test Engineers on testing cases
Code Reviews
Using MVVM design pattern for WPF Front End
Participating in SCRUMs
Utilising OOP knowledge and tools like ReSharper to extend and refactor existing code
Using Entity Framework (EF4) for Data Access repository
Using SQL Server 2008 r2 .. setup/maintenance scripts
Developed Service Gateways, WCF 4 Services
Using TFS for source control and work items
Documenting Services API with Sandcastle
Using DotTrace to analyse performance bottlenecks and improve
Assessment of VS2012 rc+ .NET 4.5.
Developed tools to manipulate image files.
Testing Application in VM's of Production Environment.
