I am currently working with an extremely innovative and young start up in Berlin, who is seeking a mobile developer. This will be a 3 month opportunity, to start at the beginning of December, and to work onsite, full time, with the current team.
The company work on a range of projects, and you will have a choice of which project you would like to work on, as multiple developers are required for both platforms at this stage. Of course, your previous experience and passion for the different applications will play a major role in deciding which applications you work on.
Application 1 - Secure file sharing platform
- Send messages and transfer files, and allow for collaborative communication around user data
- Synchronise private and shared data over digital device groups, regardless of individual choice of operating system, using the smartest available connection.
- Prevent security and privacy issues using end-to-end encryption on all transferred data
Applications 2 - Advanced vehicle navigation system
- GPS/Geolocation technology
- Partial map download to allow for quicker "on the go" data downloads, and even offline map usage
- Custom UI, based on previous user feedback to allow for easy use and safe use while travelling
Applications 3 - Video sharing platform with integrated game
- Compete to "Guess the clip" from the movie
- Share video clips with friends, similar to "Snapchat"
- Prevent security and privacy issues using end-to-end encryption on all transferred data
You will have one of the following groups of experience:
- iOS - Xcode - Swift OR Android - Eclipse/Android Studio/IntelliJ
AND
- Strong UI Skills - Web Services Experience - 2 + Years Mobile Dev Exp - Experience with C++ Back End integration (advantage) - Security technology experience (advantage)
