This is where you come into play
We are looking for a freelance software engineer well-versed in working with broad stack and various CMS experience to take over a project initially for 20 hours per week during at least six months. It is very important for us to create a convenient work environment in which you’ll be happy to come to the office and meet the team. The perfect candidate should be open to learn new things. If trust is more important than control, impact is more important than velocity and innovation is more important than predictability, you might be the one we’re looking for.
Senior Software Engineer (Freelancer in house)
Job Duties
* Design, development, and maintenance of modern backend and API systems in Python, Ruby, Java
* Monitor and optimize the infrastructure and automation with scripts (Bash, Java, etc)
* Proactive technical support of colleagues with troubleshooting, performance analysis and tuning
* Creation of specifications, reporting, and documentation
Why you
* Several years of experience in development with Python and Ruby
* Some experience with Java
* Deep knowledge in relational databases (Postgres or Oracle) and experience with at least one NoSQL-Database (Hadoop, MongoDB, Redis)
* Experience in scaling high-traffic websites, as well as performing query and performance optimization
